Look Away Now

It's Xmas Day and what better way to start the day than to worry about all those calories I'm about to consume! Lol

Actually the heating is broken so... I figure all the extra energy I'll be using to stay warm the next few days will go some way to helping me burn off those mince pies in my eyes haha

I've actually tried to relax a little on the food front this xmas and only get some nice stuff in, not every thing in existence... i'm grateful that i can eat chocolate and xmas pud today but you know it can turn into an Eat All You Can Xmas if you're not careful...

i wonder what time the gym is open on Monday.. haha and i'm not even joking! Merry Xmas Skinny B*tches! X

Operation Flatpack

I am 3 sessions into a new Personal Trainer and Operation Flatpack!

I met my new PT Lisa in the sauna at my gym.. she'd just qualified as a PT and was starting flogging her services asap.. and she looks AMAZING! Lol which I'm guessing will help with getting business!

So a low carb diet, several protein shakes and anti-oxidant drinks later here I am, currently weighing 10s 1lb and holding.. it's very difficult as a veggie to do low carb tho so i really need help with interesting things to do with beans! I guess I need to master the veggie chilli!

The stuff she's being doing to my abs has been far out tho, sometimes I think she wants me to die right there on the mat but fair dos I can definitely feel my waist whittling... and since I'm hoping for some beach action in October I should be just about flat by then! Lol

so it turns out that being excited about meeting your target weight is something you should not talk about out loud... haha

moving house + birthday = 7 lbs gain in a week! er, what?! how is that possible?! i shall never eat again!

OMG!

Seriously tho - I can't believe this day has come and maybe it won't last but I better note it while it IS the case...

I am under 10stone! For the first time in about 7 years I reckon... And I been eating crap recently too! It's my birthday next week, was hoping to look slimline and lovely... best present ever - being a skinny b*tch!

The gym works kids! lol

Let them eat cake

Today I ate cake. And pizza. And drank cider. And missed the gym. I think you should know that nobody is more disappointed in myself than me!!!

Okay the cake I can explain. The other half's birthday.. can't not eat birthday cake!

The pizza was bad timing. I had a bad day at the office. No time for lunch and then 'birthday pizza' arrived as the station was 3 years old today... who can resist?

The gym wasn't happening as soon as I committed to a third slice...

The cider has just been consumed because it's Friday and it's been a busy week folks... plus I feel like now it's been the Budget Superstar it's the right thing to do!

The weekend will be a sociable one so more calories no doubt but come Monday, oh yes, I am sooo back on the wagon! I will be donating the Ginger Nuts in my drawer to charity (or the sales team haha)

guinness and chips

on Sunday i was at the Birmingham St Patrick's Parade with my mum - it was Mothering Sunday too... a happy coincidence as she loves a jig and a guinness!

the problem is guinness is very calorific... and at a parade you can only really get junk food to snack on so chips were eaten... to cut a long story short i was definitely not enjoying a skinny b*tch lifestyle on Sunday!

it's a slippery slope this 'holiday' living! i have a few days off work and the booze and no doubt chips will flow... then i'll spend 2 weeks working off the holiday pounds! quel beast!

but what's a girl to do? a sober St Patrick's Day cannot and should not ever occur! lol

what's half a cup between friends?

3kg to target weight and the inevitable has happened...

i seem to have become a DD, down half a cup on the old knockers!

this is okay, and a long time coming really... when at my slimmest (pre-20) i was a D/DD so being an E last few years has seemed excessive...

of course it's the last place i want to lose weight! my thighs are still far too big... but i'm working on those with evil squats and lunges and fat burning treadmill...

but it means i need to go brassiere shopping! need - not just want! yey! also bras tend to look nicer in the smaller sizes - tho DD is hardly classed as small, the best bras only seem to go to D...

i had a look online but you really gotta go try them on so to department stores i go (come payday, way too skint for such stuff right now!)

i'm a big fan of boobs tho, so hoping this is isn't the beginning of a massive shrinkage! lol

fat pants

at the gym this week i discovered two interesting things...

1. i lost 1kg some how in the last week, excellent news!

and

2. my blue gym trousers are now too big! ruddy heck - it's the end of an era!

can you imagine... i never thought the day would come but yep think i'm gonna have to pass them to the charity shop for another wannabe skinny b*tch lol

i been going to the gym a lot recently, really loving those endorphins clearly... i think i could safely say i go 4 times a week - any more times than that and i'd be a saint! (which i ain't!)

a friend came along for a couple of weeks and i showed her my programme from my personal trainer.. helped me to work out better as i was concerned about showing her the right moves... also i think i'm ready for another session, the flat tum for the summer isn't going to happen without some specialist help... altho i know really that i just need to do situps every day lol

i met a girl about to have heart surgery while sat in the sauna (i've spoken of the same girl previously as my gym thinspiration!) turns out she had a scar on her heart when she was born and they only realised recently by chance that it was there and had grown in size along with the rest of her so she had to go have open heart surgery on Monday...

it really made me appreciate my health, i mean i do anyway but stuff like that really highlights it huh? Lisa (the heart op gal) was about to start her own business as a personal trainer but it's been delayed a little until she recovers, she's gonna write a journal about her journey back to total fitness and i'm gonna help her put it online so watch this space for updates..

but can you imagine it? i'll be able to hire my thinspiration in the summer for one on one flat tummy action! lol amazing!

new year new motivations

hello friend

well i can't say for sure what weight i am today - too scared to go on the scales post xmas indulgence.. my skinny jeans don't feel so skinny is all! lol

i am back and the gym and trying real hard to detox on the sugar, but as it's in alcohol and January is pretty grim it's tough to commit for more than 6 days haha (that's Friday nights kids!)

i have two goals for 2010 - a flat tum and a peachy bum! TMI! it's sit ups and squats all the way baby! then when i get to a beach this summer it'll be all good and lovely snaps to remember it by!

i bought a fitness DVD before xmas and did it for the first time last weekend... it was really good, and the next two days my thighs were hurting so it mustv done some good right?! i think i'll do it when i can't get to the gym... but i'm trying to go to the gym every other day... the only annoying thing about january at the gym tho is the increase in punters... they'll all fall off the wagon by end of February but they clog up the changing rooms/ showers/classes/ machines i suppose that's where a private gym wins... only ever you in it! but then where's the eye candy?! lol

bon chance to you if you hope to be slimmer in 2010 too, and remember no more biscuits! haha
